Glen Park Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medication Technician Caregiver to join our team. Job Summary
As the Medication Technician Caregiver, you will assist with the basic needs of residents in our Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). You will administer medication in accordance with California Title 22 regulations, order and reorder medication, and ensure that residents receive the highest quality care. You will also work closely with medical professionals to promote resident health and well-being, and ensure that residents stay stress-free while maintaining independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the basic needs of residents in an RCFE setting.
  • Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
  • Administer medication to residents in accordance with Title 22 regulations.
  • Order and reorder medications following physician instructions.
  • Monitor medication administration records and report errors.
  • Provide progressive documentation and communication with physicians and medical professionals.
  • Schedule resident doctor’s appointments.
  • Ensure residents stay stress-free by working with medical staff to reduce pain and promote engagement.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and composure during emergencies.

What We Require

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience as a caregiver, familiar with managing 20+ residents within an 8-hour shift.
  • Mandatory Live-Scan Clearance, TB test, and CPR/AED certification required upon job offer.
  • Knowledge of medication administration and ability to comply with Title 22 regulations.
