Glen Park Senior Living is seeking an experienced and compassionate Memory Care Director to lead our Memory Care Unit. Since 1968, we have been dedicated to providing dignified, affordable, and caring services to seniors in our community. We are looking for a dynamic leader to ensure exceptional care and an enriching environment for our residents.

Job Summary
As the Memory Care Director, you will oversee the planning, development, and evaluation of care services for our residents with memory care needs. Working closely with the Executive Director and care staff, you’ll ensure compliance with Title 17 and Title 22, while maintaining a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate resident care goals and initiatives.
  • Oversee staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care and medication management.
  • Develop and update individualized resident care plans to meet Title 17 and Title 22 requirements.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate caregiving staff to maintain excellent care standards.
  • Create staffing schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and community stakeholders.
  • Monitor and address resident incidents, ensuring timely reporting and preventive action.
  • Conduct regular audits and skills assessments for caregiving staff.
  • Act as a liaison with outside medical professionals, regulatory agencies, and suppliers.
  • Ensure residents do not have prohibited health conditions, per policy guidelines.
  • Regularly visit all Caregiver shifts to monitor performance and quality of care.

What We Require

  • Completion of an approved certification program.
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Current certification in Basic First Aid and CPR.
  • Ability to pass a physical exam and criminal background check.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM; On-call as needed.
