Glen Park Senior Living is now seeking someone to join our team as an Assistant Administrator! As a leader in the senior housing industry, Glen Park in Glendale is looking for a leader who is an expert at building personal relationships with potential residents and their families. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operational Management
- Collaborate with the Administrator to lead daily community operations, including scheduling, staffing, and service delivery oversight.
- Act as a leadership presence on-site, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service in a team-oriented environment.
- Step in for the Administrator as needed to ensure continuity of leadership and decision-making.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations including Title 22, Title 17, and other applicable standards.
- Oversee accurate and timely documentation, filing systems, and reporting processes.
- Prepare for and participate in audits or inspections by regulatory bodies.
- Resident & Family Coordination
- Oversee resident scheduling, transportation, appointment coordination, and documentation with professionalism and empathy.
- Serve as a point of contact for residents and families, addressing concerns with a focus on care and satisfaction.
Staff Supervision & Development
- Supervise and support staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, development, and high standards in resident care and service.
Program Strategy & Community Engagement
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to grow existing and new programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with local and state program representatives, case managers, and community organizations.
- Represent the organization publicly at conferences, forums, and stakeholder meetings.
Training & Capacity Building
- Organize and lead training sessions for internal staff, clients, and partner organizations.
- Ensure all stakeholders understand program requirements, compliance standards, and organizational policies.
Data & Reporting
- Collect and report program statistics, survey results, and compliance data to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Use data insights to support quality improvement and strategic planning efforts.
Flexible Availability & Travel
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Travel occasionally, including overnight, to attend meetings, trainings, or support satellite operations.
Cybersecurity & Organizational Integrity
- Promote and model adherence to cybersecurity policies and protocols across all levels of staff and operations.
- Prior experience managing and supervising team members.

- A proactive, dependable self-starter who thrives in a fast pace setting.
- 1 + year of administrative caregiving, or senior living experience preferred.
- Prior experience managing and supervising team members.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Willingness to be hands-on and eager to learn.
- Flexible to support the team and residents.
- Strong proficiency in Google Suite and computer literacy is essential.

Required skills and qualifications:
- Completion of an approved residential-elderly administrator certification program.
- Completion of at least 15 college or continuing education units. At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Current training in first aid and CPR. Have the personal characteristics, physical energy, and competence to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
